1. Typographical name logo

This typographical logo has been created out of a photograph of jewellery beads, spelling out my full name with differing colours for each bead to represent to my audience that I am able to be versatile as an artist and to leave the comfort box. The use of colour here is also a representation of the organized chaos which my creative process usually consists of, as well as my tendency to use bright colours in my artwork. The lettering is surrounded by a vibrant shade of green, which usually has associations of calmness and nature, however in this case, this specific shade of green is meant to symbolize being energetic and vivid. The reason behind this is that I wanted to show the contrasting side of my personality, which has more confidence than the calm side. The beads are placed chaotically to create a sense of balanced chaos, and to add even more life to the otherwise static, Sans-serif typeface present on the perfectly square beads.
2. Typographical name logo

This typographical logo uses the Harlow Solid Italic font due to the soft and slightly square-like nature of the shapes which make up the font. In order to add a sense of motion to this typeface, I have warped the text slightly to make it look as if it is floating, bearing slight resemblance to a cloud, which is also what I tried to achieve by carving a cloud shape into the letters and adding slight shading in order to make the lines have a sense of seperation. In addition, I have selected a pastel pink colour to represent this typographical logo because clouds often have associations of dreaminess, which is fitting due to pastel pink’s calming abilities. According to Smith (2022), pink calms feeling of aggression and extreme emotions, therefore I felt that it was fitting to use for the imagery of a cloud which has associations of neutrality in terms of weather. In order to conclude, I want this typographical logo to present the light-hearted and relaxed perception of myself.
