CONCEPTUALLY DESIGNED PERSONAL LOGO

1. Conceptually Designed Personal Logo

This conceptual logo combines the letters of my name and the face of a cat. Initially, I have transformed and positioned them to fit into the shape of a cat’s face. The idea behind this image is that it should be done in one brush stroke in the order that the letters appear in the name. The image of the cat is meant to represent my personality and the image of myself that I would like to project to my audience. The cat picture is also meant to be similar to a stylised signature, creating an additional meaning which is that it is meant to present my name to the audience that I am aiming for. Originally, I have settled for this conceptual logo to be pastel pink and created out of a real typeface, however it did not work out fully as it did not carry the same meaning as the handwritten style.

2. Conceptually Designed Personal Logo

This conceptual logo of a cloud which has a rainbow rain-like structure placed underneath it is meant to be a play on words including my first name. The reason behind my first name being drawn into the shape of a cloud is due to the fact that it is a common mishearing or joke revolving my name, as it sounds familiar to the word ‘cloud’. In addition to this, clouds have associations of neutrality and calmness surrounding them, therefore I felt like it represented my personality successfully. Furthermore, the rainbow that is spilling from the cloud is meant to portray the other side of my personality, which consists of more mischievious and playful traits. To further add onto this, the way that this conceptual design creates a new meaning is that it presents two contrasting ideas – a cloud of indifference and rainbow which portrays own personality confidently and with pride.
